The North Downs Way is a 153 mile/245 km long distance walk from Farnham to Dover. This first section of The North Downs Way is 12 miles/19.3 km and easy to reach from London. If you plan to walk the entire North Downs Way, I recommend this official guidebook by Colin Saunders. This walk starts at Farnham railway station and finishes at Guildford railway station. The entire route is well waymarked.
